The complete text of the Eshet Hayil, "The Woman of Valor" [Proverbs, chapter 31] is micrographied around the central area of this very decorative ketuba, a reminder of days gone by in Persia. Gold suns in the corner shine down onto the ketuba.

The crown holds the 7th blessing from the traditional Seven Blessings recited under the wedding huppa flanked by the 10 Commandments written in gold



This detail clearly shows the mixing of geometrical designs in unusual combinations of color schemes which reminded the artist of traditional Persian "carpet pages" of old manuscripts.
